First Dream

Dream 11.12.11
Two Brothers’ Fishing Business

In my dream I saw a movie clip of a scene over many years. It was the picture of a pier with a small city in the background. I was looking at it with the water to my back. It started in the early 1900s. There were two young brothers who had returned from war and were living in Pennsylvania. They were in their early twenties and were trying to start a fishing business. They needed to find a way to make a living so they began fishing from the pier. They sold their fish to the people in the city. The business started with just the two of them but grew over time. The year of each scene would flash before it and then fade away. It was white in the beginning, red for a few in the middle, and different colors for the years at the end. The scenes would change year after year showing the growth of their business. They built a building on the west side of the pier for their business. I was facing south looking at the scene which made the building on my right. They also bought a boat to fish in and docked it next to their building. They began to hold a yearly celebration in October which was the peak of the fishing season when they caught the most amount of fish. They gave away fish and other food to the people at the celebration to promote their business. The celebration grew over the years and turned into a feast. Their business grew and they purchased larger fishing boats. The scenes continued and the year 1972 flashed in light red. This was a key year. Though the scene said 1972, it still looked like the early 1920s or 1930s. In this scene they had two 5 foot tall beer mugs. They were filled with ale and they began to give the ale away to the people. They did this to promote their business and secure lifelong customers. The people celebrated and greatly enjoyed the ale. I heard one man say, “They are giving away free ale, we are going to come back next year.” The two brothers were excited because they now had a successful and established business with customers who would return year after year. The celebrations continued and grew so big that they looked like a new year’s celebration. People began to come from all over the country. They were drinking and eating excessively. For the next few years the company had great growth. A couple years later they had a new white fishing boat and a rocket in the form of a small red submarine. They shot it in the air toward the top of a building on the other side of the pier. It was an ancient white building with a bell tower at the top. The rocket turned around and came back hitting the side of their new fishing boat. There was a hole in the ship where the rocket landed and it stuck out. This was a stunt used to entertain the people. Many years passed and the celebrations became smaller turning into family attractions. The last scene ended in 2011. The two brothers were no longer alive and the business was run by executives. In October of this year a large white model cruise ship was parked in the location where they used to park their fishing boats. This was the time of their yearly celebration. The ship had been turned into a museum and could not be moved. This was the first year they opened the museum which was just before we arrived. Inside you could see all the photos and artifacts about how the brothers grew the business. Everything was designed like a theme park. They had built a large wooden pavilion over the ship. Sun, Tim, John, Ben, Cory, and I went to visit this pier. We walked on the pier next to the cruise ship reading information posted about their business. We did not go into the museum but walked outside and saw green grass hills and mountains. We all gathered together and talked for a minute.

Baseball Game

The scene changed and we were now inside a large restaurant watching a professional baseball game. The restaurant and the baseball team were owned by the fishing business. The restaurant had a model pier built like the one used by the brothers. We stood on it while watching the game. The restaurant had only three walls. The missing wall was open so you could watch the baseball game in the distance. There were also televisions to watch the game. As we were standing there I had a deja vu. I saw Sun, Tim, John, Ben, Cory and I playing a baseball game together earlier that day. We were being very competitive and wanted to win. I saw that we had completely left Sun out of the game. We had neglected him and did not allow him to play. We did not believe he had any talent or ability to play the game and did not think we needed him. After I saw the déjà vu I knew that Sun was aware of what happened. I then heard him begin to sharply rebuke everyone. As we were watching the game on the pier we were standing in this order from first to last: Brad, Sun, Tim, John, Ben, and Cory. Sun specifically said that we didn’t think we needed him. I heard Sun and was a little offended because I had recently asked for Sun’s help building a light blue boat. Sun showed me everything I needed to know to build it. I was very excited about working with him and receiving his help. I was also eager to learn from his wisdom. It was a great joy for us to work together on building the boat. We finished it just before going on this trip. Then I turned around to look at Sun and saw him intently looking at Tim. I quickly knew he was speaking the truth and that I was guilty as well. I knew in the dream that we were completely wrong and that we did need Sun.

Impression:

I had asked the Lord to give me a dream to confirm what I heard from him in another dream earlier that day. Then the Lord gave me this dream.

The brothers’ focus was to build a successful business. Their main promotion was giving away fish and ale at the celebration. They wanted to grow their business by entertaining people and gain loyal customers. Though the scenes changed over the years, they continued to look like the 1920s and 1930s until the last few scenes.

During the baseball game we had intentionally rejected Sun from playing. Our hearts were focused on competition and our ability to play. We did not believe we needed Sun and neglected his effort to play. This reflected our heart’s attitude in our need for Sun’s help spiritually. He was given the authority to dispense God’s grace for our growth. This is the only way we can grow and we will not make progress without him.

I read an article called “The Real Separation” which discusses the heart conditions and attitudes that will disqualify us from moving on in the Lord. In this dream competition, self-glory, and strife are a few of the attitudes that the Lord is revealing in our hearts. These are the attitudes that will hinder us from moving on in the Lord and must be dealt with. It is also clear in the dream that we need to yield to authority and understand Divine relationships. Sun was given the place of authority and we neglected him. He is the one who dispenses God’s grace for our growth. There is a clear warning and admonition from the Lord to be aware of these attitudes and deal with them. This will enable us to walk with pure hearts and enter into His Life. Bless the Lord, Amen!

Second Dream

Dream: Teaching Brothers to Build a Boat

I was on a dock in the ocean. It had many rows on the left and right that held boats. I was on the first row on the right side early in the morning. Two students from my school were in the water. They are brothers. The older one is named Rigo and the younger one is named Emmanuel. They had two pieces of a boat and were trying to put it together. The first part was the base of the boat, the hull, which floats on the water and the second piece was a wooded bench that secures inside the boat. They were having trouble putting the bench in the boat. As I was standing on the dock, I instructed Emmanuel to bring the boat toward me so I could help. He was trying to lift the bench inside the boat and it began to sink. I jumped into the water and taught them how to secure the bench inside the boat on four mounts. The bench was baby blue and the hull was wooden. As I was teaching them to put together the boat, the dream ended.

Impression:

When I first heard Rigo’s name I thought of the word Regal which means royal, kingly, princely or majestic. Emmanuel means God with us.

I spoke with Sun and he mentioned that I had another dream where he was teaching me how to build a boat. Now I am teaching the younger generation how to build a boat as well.

The cruise ship in the first dream represents today's Christianity. Recently a cruise ship sunk off the coast of Italy. I had this dream about 2 months before this event.

In the first dream Sun taught me how to build a light blue boat like a fishing boat. In the second dream I was teaching the brothers to build the same type of fishing boat. It was also the same color as the boat Sun taught me to build.

Many thoughts came to me when reflecting on these two dreams in light of the recent tragedy and some of my own dreams indicating the "drowning" of Western Christianity as the Lord is summing up the Church Age to transition and judgment. The two brothers, I think, are the Pentecostal and Charismatic movement in the past century. It is evident, as shown in many other ways, they are now becoming a shelter of entertainment, rather than Godly wisdom and solution for the days ahead.

I suspect, we as a group, or individuals, are acting as a representation of something beyond our own life situations. To be specific, we are reflecting what is taking place in the spiritual journey of the Son company that the Lord intends to raise up.

This dream again reminds me of what dear brother Charles E. Newbold shared in his word titled as "The Real Last Move of God". My urge in the dream and in real life, if there is any, is to see at least some of us rid of the distractions and entertainment of what is doomed to be taken away, and for us to make every effort to be found in the Lord's will, to get hold of the portion that is truly ours, even the real discipleship in the Kingdom life.

I am encouraged by your latest dream, evidently the Lord has turned your attention to what His heart desires. It is so comforting to know this.

Love you dearly
Sun

Thank you for sharing these Brad. I'm continually blessed by His goodness in giving us to each other.
